Black tea accounts for over 90% of the tea consumption in the western world. During the production process black tea leaves are changed substantially, allowing the characteristic flavors of the teas to emerge. The world’s finest black teas are produced in India, Sri Lanka, and China. They brew to a dark, golden infusion with a strong, full flavored taste. They contain some caffeine and are good morning time teas, especially with milk and sugar.
